The drug companies have long promoted on TV commercials men having a problem now referred to popularly as a new ailment called "ED". This "erectile dysfunction" is of more concern to diabetic men who are 3 times more likely to have problems in the bed room then a non diabetic. A study of over 1700 men conducted over 12 weeks on the use of "bedroom enhancement" drugs that include Viagra, Levitra and Cialis showed no major hazard in their use short term. They did report side affects including the usual headache, and respiratory problems as well as some flu like symptoms. Diabetic patients have to be exceptionally careful about taking any drugs since the connected side effects can seriously complicate chronic health complications, that are more likely appear along with diabetes. All unfortunately more common among diabetics. The no obvious hazards in the short term cleared up in this study needs to be followed up with long term studies. The "bedroom" success rate was improved for 26.7% of the men in the study as compared to those on the placebo. Editors note: If a whole tablet works or helps most find that a half tablet works as well. At a cost approaching ten dollars each this is a significant idea worth trying.
