It was not family genes. It was what mom fed you and your
siblings.
You won't read this anywhere else, but
figure it out for yourself. This is not rocket
science.
If you have done much of any research on diabetes on who gets it, and
why, it should have become very obvious by now that human society all
over the world had little or no diabetes until introduced to modern man
diet and inputs.
That is a NO brainer.
Those switched to
Modern Man diet and diagnosed with diabetes, usually overcome it in a
matter of weeks, when switched back to their indigenous diet of the
society and ancestors, whatever that might have been.
Since 1900 diabetes has exploded primarily because of refined
steel milled flour and sugar becoming huge parts of
the diet and as the amount increased year by year diabetes
increased right along with it
To understand this, realize your body
was not designed to handle high sugar and starch, and when confronted
with it compensates year by year with building a resistance and defense
against it.
Your body was designed for unrefined
sugars and starch levels.
When the high sugar build
up of resistances over 50 to 60 years surpass a point and blood glucose
sugar and can no longer control these high peaks, you have diabetes and
everything that goes with it.
You did not catch it; it
accumulated in body defensive reaction build up against ungodly high
sugar peaks.
THE ROLE OF
POTATOES
Now let's take up yours and my diabetes and the role of
potatoes.
You need to know that potatoes did not exist in
the European diet until after Columbus brought them back from South
America.
Therefore, the human system did NOT HAVE the
20,000 or more years to adopt they say it needs (most say 50,000 years).
Agriculture came along 10,000 years ago – not long enough to
adjust to grain, dairy, domesticated animals etc.
Potatoes a few hundred years at best. No
adjustment time at all. Potatoes, cooked (poisonous raw) are
almost the equivalent of eating raw sugar.
French Fries (starch) for
example are worse and convert to higher glycemic than pure sugar,
your body WAS NOT MADE TO HANDLE THAT LEVEL OF BLOOD SUGAR
PEAKS.
My brother, my sister and myself all have diabetes.
My dad wound up in his 70's with diabetes, (just as I did in my
70's).
Now some will say – we all inherited the "tendency to get
diabetes" genes.
I believe that to be incorrect as assumption. I
believe we ALL 4- ate my mothers cooking and meal preparation for 17
years or more, and very likely from habit familiarly continued much of
that diet such as potatoes up to 3 times a day after we left
home.
By the age of 20 I believe I was half way built up
resistance as diabetes. The other half took me 55 years
more, because I changed my diet somewhat, just as my siblings did after
we left home.
Had we continued we likely would have developed it
in our forties.
I was raised on depression meals from 1929 on.
Breakfast consisted of Kellogg's cornflakes (made at 400 degrees by
Kellogg's).
With us adding pure sugar on top.
Pancakes with
sugar syrup, French toast with Karo Syrup, you get the picture and when
heavy physical labor season workers on the farm even fried potatoes at
breakfast. When we had eggs for breakfast when we had hearty hired
men etc. doing heavy fieldwork needing calories, we all had fried
potatoes and eggs for breakfast, boiled potatoes for lunch, and huge
gobs of mashed potatoes or baked for supper.
During the depression
we lived on potatoes.
The men working in the fields needed the
calories to keep going and ate large amounts of bread and potatoes,
sweet rolls cake and pie. We kids ate at the same
table.
These were huge sugar peaks three meals a day 5 to 10 times
the level our body was made to handle.
Is it hard for you to see how myself, my brother, my sister, and my
dad all came down with diabetes damage accumulation after years of
that? Our genes were like everybody else's, we were
not made to handle that and we had no genes to adjust to handling
it.
My mother came down with Alzheimer's in her 70's which is now too
believed is just "Brain Cell diabetes". There was nothing
wrong with our genes. There was EVERYTHING wrong with our
diet.
Keep Modern Civilization As You Know It..... SWITCH DIET TO MATCH
CAVEMEN MODEL BODY
You and I can do studies and test for years as to what we can get
away with from modern food and not add to our self destruction.
Likely there is much that can be adopted that will work
with our caveman model body.
Figuring that out may have much turn up of considerable amount we
originally consider okay turn out to be incorrect and by the time
it is all resolved as to "what works", you and I with our
diabetes will have been long gone –
WE DO NOT HAVE THAT TIME TO EXPERIMENT NOW
Therefore, in my judgment we have to eliminate everything that does
not match the caveman diet and over the years as we find out what else
"works" we can add it back in.
We need to give our body every chance possible to freely
recoup with only input it was designed to operate on.
Remember, we are not just trying to finally lead the healthy
lifestyle our body was designed for (designed very well) we are trying
to also recoup and undo as much as we can of sixty years of putting our
body through a constant battle to defend itself from input it was not
matched to handle.
It has developed over the years a "resistance"
system in defense. This damage is considered
"irreversible".
Some indigenous people in studies going
back on their "caveman" diets have had some reversal of the damage in
addition to stopping its progression in seven weeks.
Hopefully you and I cannot only stop the progression of
this self destruction disease (not just diabetes) but reverse the
process to at least a degree.
For 60 habit years I drove on the right side of the
road.
I could do it very competently. I knew
exactly how far I could go to the right even though I could not see that
side. I could come very close to something without hitting it.
I could talk, think about other things and at the same
time respond automatically to whatever came upon the
road.
Then I went to Australia and New Zealand and rented a car with a
steering wheel on the right and I had to drive on the left side of the
road. The first thing I did was hit a concrete barrier on the left
side of the car. I misjudged how far things were from the left side –
completely bizarre.
I had never sat on the right and judged how
far things were from left side.
Never occurred to me that would be a
problem.
Driving out and across the right lane and heading to the
left lane, heading right almost got me RUN over because I habitually
looked the wrong way.
The real hazard was the car coming from the
right and I was pulling right out in front of him, never looked was in
the habit of checking the other direction.
After two weeks I still
have to real work at it particularly in busy hours and heavy
traffic. It occurs to me when we get old and come down with
old age diabetes it is very similar to moving to
Australia. If you are going to take control of your
life, you need to adapt to a new set of rules if you are to survive
long.
You will need 21 days of very cautious and difficult "working at" to
change lifestyle habits that if continued are going to get you clobbered
(most likely) in the near future unless you change your lifestyle habits
and adopt new rules and learn to drive on the left side of the road of
life.
It is not going to be easy, you are every morning for 21 days
find yourself heading up the wrong side of the road from your old
habits, just automatically on the wrong side of the new road.
Then
you will suddenly realize that's not right, that's going to get me
killed.
Every car coming up over the hill scares you as it seems to
maybe be on the wrong side when you first see it.
Let's just say it will be uncomfortable and somewhat nerve racking.
If you are going to be in control of your own health, that is what
you have to do as a diabetic. Not drive on the old side of
the road some of the time. Moreover to the left side when
you see someone coming.
No – you drive on the new side for the rest
of your stay in Australia, New Zealand, or England.
Which, if you
have diabetes, means you will be figuratively speaking need to learn
100% operating under the new rules and develop new habits so you can
soon do it just as comfortably as your old lifestyle.
It happens; it
takes 21 days to adapt a new lifestyle. Remember you do not do it right,
some of the time and revert to your old ways some of the time.
To be a "survivor" you change 100% OR you are
going to get clobbered.
