The poisoned PET food episode brought to light the fact that America had imported 7000
tons of pet food component Gluten (made from wheat) tainted with poisonous chemical from
China. Gluten is in all sorts of processed "people food" and is a catastrophe for man and pets alike without poisonous chemicals.
There is no testing of food exports from China and none from most other countries who are now dumping huge amounts of food into the American market. On arrival here, less than 1% is
checked at all. Latest news is that vitamin supplements and even pharmaceuticals are now being farmed out to production in China and imported from there, unbeknown to the consumer.
It is reported that less than 1% of any human consumption of these food and drug products are either one being tested by any agency on arrival in the US. They are, like the pet food,
often mixed in with local ingredients.
This means I would be very suspicious and cautious about taking or using any mass market food or pharmaceutical supplement sold by the big chains
(Walmart etc.) which rely on low cost
"imports" for their volume prices. The larger the volume distributor, the more they benefit from lower production costs. By buying and sourcing from China, the
more likely the product is imported in huge quantity and has almost no protection or safeguards on either
end source or distributions. However, they are much more careful because of lawsuits, etc.
CHINA IS IMMUNE TO LAWSUITS.
Not that the FDA and other related entities check on American products anyway.
Concerned? You should be - remember, if your ancestors did not consume it, you probably would be advised to skip it also.
Local, organic, non-processes or mixed
direct-from-producer food (picked ripe - not picked green and ripened in stores) are your
best bets.
If it is man made, chemically processed, refined, heat treated or plasticized packaged, it can drastically affect your body, your health, your well-being and your longevity.
NOBODY is looking after your input but you - and you have been a real gambler with high stakes. Keep this up - the odds will get you too.
